【開催レポート】HBC白馬プレミアムクラス in 岩岳（6月17日）
On June 17th, we held a special HBC Premium Mountain Bike Class for Kids at the Hakuba Iwatake MTB Park.
This premium class was designed for a small number of participants to receive personalized coaching from two professional mountain bikers. By combining our core coaching approach with the unique strengths of a guest coach, we were able to provide a deeper learning experience for every rider.
Focused on Real Skills: Downhill Technique, Smooth Riding, and Jumps
With a downhill MTB race scheduled at Hakuba Iwatake in just two weeks, this class focused on course strategy, especially how to ride Hakuba’s smooth trails effectively. Key topics included:
How to ride smooth surfaces with control
Braking and line selection through back-to-back berms
Jump techniques and safe landings for kids
Kids were especially excited during the jump session, and the energy throughout the class was fantastic.
Safety First – Fully Staffed Support Team
The full 7km downhill course was used, and we ensured a safe, fun experience by assigning four staff members: two pro riders coaching alongside the participants, and two additional team members providing camera support and safety backup.
Despite the hot weather, all riders finished safely without any injuries, and we received lots of positive feedback from both kids and parents.
